Make your next event one they'll always remember
Whether you're hosting a corporate retreat, a luxury brand activation, an influencer gathering, or wedding, adding live event painting is a surefire way to make your event stand out from the rest.
I offer a wide variety of options for your live event, including but not limited to: custom tote bag painting, leather monogramming, custom watercolor postcards, large scale watercolor paintings of the venue or specific items, and large scale abstract paintings inspired by the event.
Whatever you choose, I'll work with you to make sure your guests are delighted and have a special experience!
Q & A
What do you need from us?
I'll need a dedicated workspace at the event that will need to include: at least 1 6 foot table, 1 chair, access to water (for cleaning brushes) a place to dump out dirty paint water, and a well lit area. Any table coverings and desired recommendations is at your discretion.
For longer events, such as weddings, where meals are served, it's appreciated to receive a meal as well. (Please note for events longer than 3 hours, if a meal is not provided I will bring my own food and will eat at the table while painting or will take a short break away from the table in order to do so).
For guest favor events (like custom totes, monogrammed loafers, painted perfume bottles, etc.) I do not provide the blank items. It is up to you to provide these and ensure you have enough for your guests.
It is also up to you to advertise my presence at your events.
What do you provide?
I'll provide my painting supplies (paint, brushes, etc.),
For live painting guest favors, I will provide a flash sheet, list of options, or mocked up item for guests to see their options from as appropriate. For these events, I do not provide the blank favors themselves and they are not included in my fee.
For live painting large scale water color or acrylic abstract paintings, I will provide the canvas and my easel, and this is included in my fee.
Do things get messy?
Generally no! With most of the painting I do, the amount of free and loose paint is minimal, so there isn't a high likelihood of spillage.
I will keep pieces that are drying on a separate space to make sure they don't get messed up.
Can we participate as well?
Of course! I’m happy to bring extra supplies so that you and your team can join in on the fun.
How many items can you complete in one event?
This will depend on the style of the event and the painting style that you choose.
Monograms take the least amount of time, while a large scale watercolor painting will take the most amount of time.
I offer additional studio time at a reduced rate to complete any items that cannot be completed during the event and will handle logistics with you to make sure the items get to the right people!
How much do additional items outside of event time cost?
For items that aren't able to be completed during the event, whether that is due to timing or items added in addition to the agreed upon amount, I charge an hourly rate.
Do you do guest portraits?
Unfortunately, no I do now offer guest portraits. Painting people is not my forte so I stay away from offering them during live events.
